Granite ceramic Ecostone - The slab that measures up
New for this year at Stenbolaget is our rectified granite ceramic EcoStone – a slab that contains up to 41.73% recycled material.
EcoStone is a composite slab that contains 99% quartz and 1% binder. The quartz in the stone makes the surface both wear-resistant and dense. In appearance, the granite ceramic resembles a natural stone, which makes it particularly beautiful for the garden's various projects. After the stone has been pressed, the surface is photoprinted. In the past, granite ceramics were mainly used for indoor environments, but thanks to an increased thickness, they can be used for outdoor construction. EcoStone comes in 7 different colors and each product is printed with several different images. In this way, you get a variation on your tiles and a surface that becomes more alive.

EcoStone is also easy to keep clean and does not discolor over time, and it is frost-resistant. The surface of the granite ceramic is treated with anti-slip, which makes it perfect for laying around the pool. The granite ceramic is not drivable, but if you want it on a driveway, gluing it to a cast sole works perfectly. It can also be attached to facades, foundations and walls.
Unlike natural stone slabs that are sawn from various blocks directly from the rock, Ecostone is made in molds. This means that the plate keeps exact measurements of both length, width and thickness. Then you save both time and money when laying the tiles compared to ordinary natural stone.
The slab is laid easily and flexibly in at least 3 cm of stone flour or fixed on a cast base for drivable surfaces. Available in both 600x600x20mm & 600x300x20mm.
