Fasat kakel gör väggen levande

Faceted tiles make the wall come alive

Unlike ordinary tiles, the bevelled tile has a depth which gives a living impression in your home. The bevelled, slightly inclined edges create decorative effects on the wall. We tell you more about faceted tiles, the different variants we offer and how you can use faceted tiles for kitchens and bathrooms.

WHITE FAUCET TILES ARE POPULAR

Faceted tiles are a traditional choice and have a distinctive look with their bevelled edges. Depending on the size of the phase, they can differ greatly externally. Right now, rectangular tiles with a thick white glaze and a strong bevel are popular options for kitchens and bathrooms. They are at the same time very traditional and good for those who are looking for a timeless look.

When you use a white faceted tile, you also need to think about the overall impression you want your wall to give, and then the joint comes into play. The chalk white joint but also the slightly darker gray are two trendy alternatives to white faceted tiles but also the white glossy tiles without bevel. It gives a light, modern and fresh feeling and can make the surface look larger. Keep in mind, however, that the white joints can be difficult to keep clean, especially above the stove or in the shower. And the dark gray variants provide strong graphic patterns, which do not suit everyone.

LAYING PATTERN WITH FAÇADE TILE

If you want to use beveled tiles in a modern style, you can choose to lay them without a laying pattern, that is, in a straight line with uniform joints horizontally and vertically. The more traditional choice of dressing gives a rural feel but is at the same time an option that is growing in popularity. However, there is nothing that says you cannot combine the two. Create a different impression by breaking the laying pattern with a new one for selected areas.

COMBINE WITH LIGHTING TO ENHANCE DEPTH

For those who want to highlight the decorative effect, you can use directional lighting . By, for example, placing spotlights under the kitchen cabinets, you can highlight the depth and shadow play of the beveled tiles. It gives the wall a nice effect!
