Tile floors and granite ceramics can be single-coloured, multi-coloured or naturally patterned, they can be smooth or textured and come in many different formats. An increasingly common surface treatment is tile floors with a surface that imitates natural stone. This is a very practical and easier-to-maintain alternative to real natural stone. The granite ceramic is a splendid example of a plate that can handle a lot! Spill-resistant, scratch-resistant and a clear choice for flooring. Granite ceramic of 9 mm also conducts the heat well and is excellent for installation with underfloor heating.

Sizes of floor tiles may differ for different surfaces. For tiled floors in bathrooms, it is more common to use smaller tiles. Especially around floor drains and where cases on the floor are to be installed. It is common for bathrooms to be smaller in terms of surface area than other rooms in the home, which can also be a reason why smaller tiles are sometimes chosen. Smaller tiles are especially successfully chosen for floors in shower corners. This allows you to create a surface with more joints and simply reduces the risk of slipping and gives the foot a firmer grip.

However, the modern alternative is larger plates! They are quicker to assemble and provide an open surface that can often be perceived as larger than it actually is. As well as that the pattern images interact beautifully and provide clearer texture migrations than on small plates.

There are many options for kitchen floors, and tile is a material that has many advantages! Especially when it comes to maintenance and cleaning. Unlike bathrooms, it is more common to use dark tiles for tiled kitchens as they do not highlight dirt as easily. This together with the slab's properties make the kitchen easy to maintain and easy to keep clean. Many also prefer slightly larger plate sizes in the kitchen. So a modern format of 60x60cm is popular.

For the patio next to the kitchen, however, it can be really nice with varied sizes, irregular formats. But even here there is a range of different granite ceramic tiles that can extend the room and provide a coherent surface.
