The ugly duckling becomes a beautiful swan
A gray dreary plastered concrete wall with graffiti and the damage from snow removal and a garage driveway that looked too ..

The wall is starting to take shape
The stone slabs on both sides of the garage driveway must be replaced with a wall and it and the old retaining wall facing the street with plaster must be covered with slate. At the entrance on the garden side there is also a retaining wall to be covered with the same slate. The entrance plants are removed and the soil is replaced.

The stairs from the street are being built up
The garage driveway and walkways must be laid with paving stones. The steps must be built up with curbstone and the same paving stone. The stairs are demarcated from the driveway with a curb.

The driveway takes shape...
The garage driveway is laid with dark flamed paving stones with elements of light stones as accents. Directly connected to the driveway is a storage space that is built in one piece with the driveway.

The corridor on the garden side is growing
The stone slabs on the garden side are replaced with the same paving stones as the driveway and entrance. The curb stone at the house wall is laid 15 cm out and sea stone is laid as drainage and contrast next to the wall.

A patio will be created
Also the space under the balcony, which was originally supposed to be built of wood, but it turned out to be paving stones there as well. It turned out well afterwards... :-)

Fine-tuning
The laying job is finished and now the finishing touches begin with, among other things, top tiles on the walls, the slate tiles on the walls are jointed as well as paving stones. The soil outside the entrance is replaced with new, fresh soil and prepared for new planting.

Fine-tuning
The finishing touches continue by laying mixed black and white sea stone between the paving and the house wall. On the outside of the retaining wall, stones are placed on the ground to get rid of the weeds that grew there before. Under the balcony by the wall on the garden side, the same sea stone and larger stones are laid to create a nice view from the bedroom that is inside. Even the honeysuckle has gotten nicer around the root. :)

The sterile entrance receives plants
Now that the stonework is finished, the entrance will be given a facelift with the new plants in place. Rhododendron is planted outside the entrance and grasses and lower plants are planted by the garage driveway.
