Our Japanese discount
We apply our discount
The inspiration for the flower bed came the day before when we impulsively bought a bamboo plant. When we were going to place the bamboo, we saw that this would fit well with an entire flower bed. The next day we peeled off the grass and went and bought white gravel at Stenbolaget. We already had the curb stones on the plot. They have been waiting for years to be used. We laid fiber cloth on top of the soil and made holes for the plants before spreading the gravel. It was a wonderful feeling to spread the gravel because it was so incredibly fast to get a nice result. Finally, we placed some larger stones and made wave patterns in the gravel to bring some life to the flower bed. The next step will be to plant more plants and try to find a nice stone fountain or bird bath.
We have bought a Japanese lantern
While looking for a stone fountain for our Japanese flower bed, we found a Japanese lantern on an ad. We'll see where it will stand when it's finished, but right now it fits in the right corner.
The discount will be ready
Now we have found a nice grass and a small fountain. The fountain was easy to build. We bought a fountain pump and a large plastic pot that we filled with stones of different sizes. Next year we will make the fountain a little higher, but now it is starting to fall and both we and the garden will have to rest for a while.
