Granite curbstones are available in a range of different sizes and models. The granite curbstones RV4 and RV2 are two robust curbstones in solid granite. The stone provides a stable frame around a paving during installation. The stone's straight shape and sawn underside make it easy to install. Framing your garden areas with granite curbs raises the whole impression and adds a natural and exclusive touch. Combine your curbstone with matching radius curbstones to create the soft shapes of the garden. The radius stones are available in a wide range of different radii to accommodate a successful installation where the garden maintains undulating shapes. The stone fits equally well to frame both decorative stone , granite slabs , slate and ground stone with.
RV4 and RV2 are curb stones whose task is to separate ground stone, natural stone paving and other surfaces and to mark what the landscaped surface is intended to be used for. Examples of areas of use are demarcation between pavement and street, planting and footpath or lawn and flowerbed. The curbstone is also of the utmost importance to mount to your drivable surfaces such as driveways and car parking spaces.

STEP 1
Dig out a gutter separately or adjacent to it paving stones you want to give extra support to. The gutter should be approx 40-50 cm wide.
If curbstones are to be installed next to a flagstone surface, this is done before the flagstone is laid. To mark the desired height, stake sticks and mason's string are used. Put a fiber cloth in the bottom, fill the shaft with a bearing layer rock crusher 0-32 and pack it properly. keep in mind that at least 50% of the curb must be buried.

Keep in mind that at least half of the stone will disappear into the ground. So it is important to think about how you want the final height of your kerb before you start assembling. The more that disappears into the ground, the more stable the surface becomes.

STEP 2
Always start at the lowest elevation if your surface slopes. Then place curb wedges on which you place the curb to make it easier to adjust heights. For a more ergonomic installation, curb scissors are advantageously used. When the heights match, you counterfill against the curb from both sides, either with soil moistened concrete alternatively rock crusher 0-32 mm or similar faction.
