Stone slabs

Stone tiles are our range of larger tiles intended for public environments and gardens. The stone tiles come in a range of different materials where you will find everything from granite, slate, limestone and concrete stone. The stone tiles create a feeling of luxury and lie like an extended arm between the house's indoor environment and the garden. A particularly coherent surface is obtained when the tiles are mounted as a surface directly outside the front door. It is also common to lay tiles in the pool area, walkways and other rooms in the garden. Every stone material has its charm and it is nice to frame the surfaces with curbstone but also in some cases an interrupting border and edge marking. In this way, you create room division and give the surfaces a clarity and structure. General rules when creating a walkway is to keep the width of the garden path so that you can meet on the surface without having to jump to the side. But the most important thing in choosing stone tiles is that you find a stone to your taste.

The choice of stone, format and material

Finding the right material for your stone tiles may seem difficult in a wide range. Likes and tastes come as an obvious parameter in your choice, but also function and load, of course. Driven surfaces require thicker stone slabs and the substrate may in some cases need to be cast when installing thinner stone slabs and certain materials. Contact and consult with us if you feel the least bit unsure. We have many years of experience in which tiles work and which different solutions are available to get extra stable paving. Be inspired by our environmental images and get inspiration for your particular garden project.

Planning and access

When you then calculate how much you may need, always count on a little spillage. An irregular stone material requires more spillage and 15% is preferred. Square and rectangular flagstones require less spillage but the way to do that is to see how much is on a pallet and if you can perhaps round up to the nearest full pallet. When you lay a slab in half-joints, the rows are shifted so that the slabs end up wrapped around each other. Then you can usually use the other cut half on the next row in your paving.

Assembly and implementation

Subwork and planning are important factors that determine how well your surface will last in the future. Be careful with your execution and feel free to use our installation guides and installation instructions. And curbstone is also an important product to keep in mind when planning your paving. The edge becomes like the frame around a painting and both locks, stabilizes and lies like a beautiful decoration.
