This beautiful grey-brown limestone floor from Öland has a soft and harmonious tone and shade. The grey-brown lines make the floor come alive and set the mark your indoor floor deserves.

Appearance

The stone's many patterns give it a very lively appearance. This stone floor is available in several sizes, but this variant in particular has a width of 400mm and comes in varying lengths.

Limestone is suitable for most indoor environments, but should be avoided in places where strong chemicals are present and as floors in shower areas. The greatness of limestone from Alböke on Öland is its wide color variations. The tiles come mixed and your stone floor will be rich in texture. The strong veins of the limestone that run through the tiles make each tile unique.  Limestone is a natural material where color changes and graining are common, this is what makes your stone floor unique. The limestone has a thickness of 12 mm and can be mounted on both floor and wall.

Surface structure

This variant is finely sanded, which gives a very soft and smooth surface, which is perfect for the home environment. Although the surface remains soft and comfortable to walk on, this surface treatment gives the stone an incredibly homely feel. The limestone also gets a depth in its texture.

Installation and maintenance

Normally, the spill rate is around 10%. Limestone in bathrooms will be incredibly beautiful - remember, however, that it is a sensitive stone that should not be exposed to strong chemicals and acidic substances. For this reason, a hot tip is not to put limestone in the shower area, for example, where a lot of water with soap and shampoo comes into contact with the floor and wall.

When the stone is to be laid, we recommend a natural stone fix for the best results. KTF55 is a good choice of fix for Alböke. A cement-based hard joint is needed for the joint, Murexin FM60 is a good alternative to it.
