Square and lovely red, sanded floor tiles with lots of life, grain and texture. Limestone can be laid as a floor in both domestic and public environments and provides a floor that tells a story.

Appearance

The red shade of the limestone gives a classic flooring. The greatness of Alböke limestone is its color changes, fossil elements and marbling, which makes each slab unique. These tiles are square shaped with a measurement of 300x300 millimeters. The plates are 12 mm thick.

Surface structure

This variant is Sanded, which gives a nice and smooth surface to the floor. Although the surface remains soft and comfortable to walk on, limestone gives a more rustic feel than many other stone floors.

Installation and maintenance

These tiles are cut in a fixed format, which makes it easy to calculate how much waste can be used, normally the waste rate is around 10%. Limestone in bathrooms will be incredibly beautiful - remember, however, that it is a sensitive stone that should not be exposed to strong chemicals and acidic substances. For this reason, a hot tip is not to put limestone in the shower area, for example, where a lot of water with soap and shampoo comes into contact with the floor and wall.

When the stone is to be laid, we recommend a natural stone fix for the best results. KTF55 is a good choice of fix for Alböke. A cement-based hard joint is needed for the joint, Murexin FM60 is a good alternative to it.
