Granite curbstone

Gray granite curbstone of the highest quality in GV2 format. This curbstone is a blasted angle stone (Right Angle) and comes in descending lengths. GV2 works excellently to stabilize paving stones and slabs around both busy areas and in garden environments.

Appearance

The completely smooth and blasted surfaces together with the stone's strict format create a modern look for the stone floor. With a thickness of 120 mm and the stable weight of the kerb, GV2 withstands both ground pressure, high wear and tear and weather over a very long time. The GV1 comes in descending lengths and with a fixed height and fixed width.

Granite as material

Granite is a durable material that stands up to all weathers and over an incredibly long period. Granite has been used in both urban planning and gardens for hundreds of years, which simply makes granite a perfect material for all types of installations. Granite curbstones are available in many sizes, thicknesses, surface treatments and both straight and in some series also radius-shaped curbstones. Granite curb stone GV1 is advantageously used for installation where a modern garden style is to be achieved while at the same time it suits you who place really high demands on quality. Natural stone and granite is a living material that varies in appearance and each stone thus becomes very alive and unique.

Surface structure

The blasted surface gives a modern touch that fits well in both urban environments, modern garden rooms and classic conservatories with a funky feel. A blasted granite stone gives smooth sides but with a certain structure and a somewhat rougher surface with tears.

Mounting

We recommend that GV2 is mounted with wooden wedges at the bottom and then cast in place with at least half the stone below ground for best results. Read more about how to install granite curbs in our guide below!
