Jurassic limestone is a beautiful limestone of German origin. The stone is available in several shades and grades, where this model comes in a wide range of gray and beige tones. Jura limestone l is best suited for indoor floors in bedrooms, hallways, kitchens and bathrooms. Limestone is a natural material where color changes and veins can occur and it is precisely these that make each stone unique.

Appearance

The color grey/beige in particular becomes incredibly vivid and varied in shade with its sharp contrasts and large pattern differences. This is what makes a Jura limestone floor so alive. The mottled surface brings life and warmth to the indoor environment and creates a large eye-catcher in the room where it is installed. The tiles come with a width of 305 mm and in descending lengths where the stone simply runs in a wide span. This means that the joints will end up spread out and give the floor a more lively impression. In this way, you can use more stone material during production and minimize waste, while at the same time giving the surfaces life and a contrasting character.

Surface structure

The tiles have a polished surface, which contributes to a smooth and soft indoor floor that is very comfortable to walk on with both shoes, socks and bare feet. The stone's texture, color shade and color shifts are also highlighted further with the help of grinding.

Installation and maintenance

When installing a floor or wall in descending lengths, you create exciting floors with great life and at the same time minimize spillage on your surface by "puzzle" together with the tiles and lengths that are delivered. Limestone in bathrooms will be incredibly beautiful - remember, however, that it is a sensitive stone that should not be exposed to strong chemicals and acidic substances. For this reason, a hot tip is not to put limestone in the shower area, for example, where a lot of soap and shampoo come into contact with the floor. When the stone is to be laid, we recommend a natural stone fix for the best possible result. KTF55 is a good choice of fix for our Jurassic Limestone. A cement-based hard joint is needed for the joint, Murexin FM60 is a good alternative to that. The tiles can be installed with underfloor heating without any problems and are perfect for most indoor environments.

When the surface is jointed and ready, it is good to clean the surface with a stone soap and impregnate the surface with a suitable impregnation. Jura limestone Grey/Beige is a floor with great character!
