Popular Offerdal slate in decreasing lengths. A perfect floor for those looking for a luxurious feel to the garden. The shape, surface and varied shades of the stone create a paving that radiates. The beautiful structure of the surface is further enhanced when the sun's rays extend over the surface.
Appearance
Offerdal slate is a beautiful, pencil-colored Swedish natural stone that is very suitable for the patio and garden path or as cladding for the garden wall. The slate has something called a claw surface, which means that the surface is rough, which contributes to significantly reducing the risk of slipping. This slate is therefore a very good choice to cover the entrance stairs with.
Size
On Offerdalsskiffer Hällgolv 300, the width is the same while the lengths vary, which creates a floating outdoor floor. Falling lengths provide a structured surface but with a large living element in its varying lengths.
Mounting
Poured floors can be laid both in a bearing layer/setting layer and on a cast base in combination with natural stone fixings and joints. An important factor when installing slate is to frame the surface with curbstone. Choose a curbstone that is aesthetically appealing, but also a taller model that also provides a good framework for the substrate when the stone is laid in crushed stone.
