Planting edge in stylish corten steel. This edge gives a well-ordered and modern impression in the garden. Only 2mm thick, it is a very easy-to-handle and practical edge support, at the same time it does an excellent job of holding soil in place and keeping away gravel and other things you don't want in the flowerbed. These corten steel edges are 1150 mm long and 120 mm high. Corten is a cool material with a rustic, almost industrial look that has a rust-red patina with a very strong strength.

Material
Slow-rusting steel plate. Slow-rusting steel contains copper which protects the material. The rust surface of the material forms a protective layer and in this way the attack stops. Corten is used where maintenance-free constructions are desired, such as bridge constructions, etc. The products are delivered untouched. The rust is already visible after a week or so in humid weather. It takes about 2 years before the cort is "ready-roasted". If you place the plate near underlying/underlying material that must not be exposed to rust bags, these must be protected until the plate is fully rusted, otherwise the rainwater will stain it. When the material is roasted, it acquires a golden brown color and the rust acts as a protective layer.

Mounting

The planting edge is available in two different widths, 12 cm and 18 cm, and three different materials corten, aluzinc and black polyester. The entire range can be combined into different shapes by choosing parts in different lengths and shapes. You can bend the edge yourself along a curved path or a shape of your own design. Since the parts are not assembled, it is easy to ship and store the parts. It is also possible to take the parts apart if you later wish to build another form or expand the existing one. Ground anchors should be attached to each joint to stabilize the edge. Shorter lengths mean & er ground anchor and a more stable edge. Use an edge cutter, spade or similar to make a groove along the planting edge. Be careful of the root systems of trees and shrubs. Press the edge down. Clear away any grass and weeds inside the planting edge and fill with e.g. cover bark or stone.
