Pool edging in natural stone or granite ceramics provides a pool edge that is easier to maintain and more durable than concrete and wood. Granite ceramic is one of the most durable options on the market, and it also looks very nice.

The series Tjörn

Tjörn is a black-colored granite ceramic that mimics real basalt in its appearance. This gives an incredible effect with dark surfaces breaking off from perhaps a white or colorful house. Tjörn is also available as a cornerstone and can also be combined with larger clinker tiles .

Format

This pool edging stone is a straight variant in a rectangular format. The stone is supplemented with ready-made corner stones for a complete framing of the pool. The thickness of 20mm provides a stable edge with a nice nose towards the pool. Each stone weighs just under 9 kg and is both easy to assemble and then lies stable.

Non-slip and soft edges

In the case of pools and patios in particular, it is important that the surface does not become too slippery when in contact with water. Therefore, these pool stones are surface treated to counteract this. One side of the curbstone has a rounded edge for maximum comfort when the pool is in use and the bath suction is at its greatest.

Mounting

When installing pool curbstone, you need a natural stone fix or glue. A warm recommendation is KTF55 which is a flexible fix that is well suited to granite ceramics . All pools look different and designs may differ. So look for what applies to your pool edge and how you can attach your edge stone in the most appropriate way.
