Can be built straight and with a slope

Waxholm Normalsten is the building stone used for the construction of the Waxholm system. Each brick is locked with 2 plastic locking plugs , which means that the same brick can be used for both vertical and inclined retaining walls. When building a sloping wall, you get a slope of about 4 degrees. This contributes to a more stable construction and that the wall can be built higher than if it were straight at the front. The design of the stone

Of course, you can build both internal and external curves and soft shapes with the help of the normal stone's wedge shape. The normal stone is hollow which makes it easier to handle, but can then be filled with crushed material or macadam to increase the stability and weight of your retaining wall. For higher constructions, Geonet is used , which firmly anchors the wall in the filling masses behind. The geonet is sold on rolls and mounted on sticks into the wall and locked into the wall with the help of the locking plugs.

Cracked surface

To get a concrete wall as vivid as possible, choose a retaining wall with a cracked front surface. Stödmur Waxholm has exactly this type of surface and provides a naturally shaped visible surface that blends well into both gardens and public places. The cracked front comes about by two blocks being cast together during production and then cracked exactly as the expression reveals. In this way, you get two stones with a cracked front. It also means that some stones can bulge out or in more than others and thus contribute to an increased impression and living feeling.

Several different accessories

In addition to the aforementioned locking plugs and the geonet, external 90-degree corners can also be created using Stödmur Waxholm Hörnsten . You order these separately, and as a help along the way, 1 corner stone is needed per shift in your wall where your intended corner is to be mounted. In other words, if you intend to install a 5-shift high wall, you need 5 cornerstones for an outer corner of 90°. Also install an Uncovering Wall as a top stone on your Waxholm wall for a neat and uniform final result. Uncovering is also available in granite if you feel like breaking out a bit and really add a golden edge to your retaining wall.
