Limestone is an exciting natural product that tells both a story and at the same time gives an inviting feeling in both home and garden. This particular product is suitable for the indoor surfaces of the home and can be mounted on both the floor and the wall.

Appearance

Öland limestone G3S Gray is a beautiful gray limestone with many veins and patterns that run in both dark lines and light tones. The stone comes with a polished surface, which gives a pleasant surface with a soft character. This limestone from Öland is 200 mm wide and is sawn in descending lengths. The shape of the stone simply means that the lengths vary over a wide range and contribute to an even more lively surface where it is mounted.
 Keep in mind that this is a natural material and that there may therefore be both color shifts and pattern differences. It is precisely this that makes the limestone unique and so alive.

Surface structure

With the polished surface, the stone becomes very smooth and you create a great comfort factor in the room you install. The polished surface is both easy to wash off and lies nicely underfoot. Öland limestone is perfect for surfaces where you want to achieve the natural and leave a historical mark.

Historical patterns

Limestone is a unique type of stone where you can find both veins and fossils that tell about the stone's history and time on earth. The fossil pattern images are relatively common, but are not found in all lots. Fossils become like an extra piece of jewelry on the mounted surface. So keep an eye out and see what's hiding in your new limestone floor.

Installation and maintenance

When laying falling lengths, spillage is minimized by piecing together the surface, normally the spillage rate is around 10%. This as you always need to make tailor-made solutions in your room. Limestone in bathrooms will be incredibly beautiful - remember, however, that it is a sensitive stone that should not be exposed to strong chemicals and acidic substances. For this reason, a hot tip is not to put limestone in the shower area, for example, where a lot of water with soap and shampoo comes into contact with the floor and wall.

When the stone is to be laid, we recommend a natural stone fix for the best results, KTF55 is a good choice of fix for limestone from Öland. A cement-based hard joint is needed for the joint, Murexin FM60 is a good alternative to it and can be found in several different colors.
For best maintenance, we recommend natural stone soap for laundry care.
